About Cledvibes Radio

Cledvibes Radio is an independent internet radio station broadcasting from London and a music desk with an opinion. Two halves of the same thing: what we play, and what we’ve got to say about it.

The music comes first, and a human picks all of it. There’s no algorithm quietly steering you toward whatever keeps you clicking, just people who love records choosing the next one. We take after stations like BBC 6 Music: genre-agnostic, curious, more interested in the good stuff than the popular stuff. A chart name might sit right next to an artist you’ve never heard of, because the only thing a track has to earn its place is being worth hearing.

We’re especially soft on independent and emerging artists. A lot of tomorrow’s favourites are being made right now by people nobody’s playing yet, so we’d rather be early than safe.

Then there’s the news. Not a wire feed with our logo bolted on the front, but our own take on what’s happening in music, in the same voice you’d hear between tracks. If a story matters, we’ll tell you why and probably nudge you toward something worth putting on because of it. Same instinct as the playlists: hand-picked, honest, and happy to have a point of view. On air and on the page.

And if you make music, the door’s open. Through our Get on air programme, independent artists and DJs can bring their sound to the station, anything from a one-off spotlight to a regular slot. We built Cledvibes Radio to be the kind of place we’d have wanted to be played on.
