When Afroman's set got rained out at Riot Fest, he wasn't having it, reminding everyone that he's literally performed through far worse weather. It's a fair point, and there's something refreshingly candid about an artist calling out a festival cancellation by just stating what he's already survived. For Cledvibes Radio listeners who value grit and authenticity in hip hop, this kind of no-nonsense attitude is exactly the spirit that keeps live music honest. Sometimes you need an artist willing to say what everyone's thinking: a bit of rain shouldn't stop the show.
