Brain Tourniquet have clearly committed to the bit with that name alone, and if this new concept album is half as fearless as their branding suggests, it could be exactly the kind of deliberately unsettling listen that cuts through the usual streaming noise. Concept albums about descent into madness aren't exactly thin on the ground, but there's something to be said for an act that puts this much swagger into the premise and refuses to apologize for making uncomfortable art. Cledvibes Radio listeners who like their music with a bit of edge and a willingness to disturb the peace should definitely be paying attention.
