Caroline Rose – “Calm” & “Hello Again, Jim”
Caroline Rose continues to prove she's one of the most gloriously unhinged artists around and the fact she's dropped something called "Calm" alongside a track about reconnecting with Jim suggests there's proper narrative depth buried under all that weirdness. With titles like "Yip Yip Yow" and "Chow Mein" already out there, this album sounds like it's going to be a gloriously chaotic listen from start to finish, and honestly, we're here for it. If you're after music that refuses to play by the rules, this is absolutely worth your time.
From Stereogum: Gentling The Horse At The Walt Whitman Mall is going to be a trip. Caroline Rose has previewed the forthcoming album with bizarro bangers "Yip Yip Yow" and "Chow Mein," and now she's sharing "Calm" and "Hello Again, Jim."
