We headed down to the V&A East Museum last week to catch 'The Music is Black' exhibition, and what a trip it was. The whole thing pulls you right in as it's one of those immersive experiences that doesn't let you off lightly, taking you through the threads connecting Black music, identity and culture across decades.

But here's the thing: the exhibition was just the warm-up. Once we'd had our fill of the displays, they cleared the piazza and someone fired up the decks. What followed was a full-throttle DJ set that absolutely didn't hold back. We're talking proper party energy, the kind that had everyone moving and reminded you why this music matters in the first place.
