Cracked Lime – “The Idiot”
Winter's already got a grip on us, and Cracked Lime's debut single "The Idiot" sounds like exactly what you need when the nights draw in and the city takes on that moody, atmospheric edge. There's something about new London acts that just seem to capture that feeling of moving through darkened streets with purpose and style, and this one's apparently got that nocturnal coolness in spades. If you're after something brooding and cinematic to soundtrack the coming months, this one's worth your ears on Cledvibes Radio.
From Stereogum: As the sun goes down earlier and the nights become longer, I need music that makes me feel like slinking around the city streets like someone from The Fifth Element. I need the darker days to feel exciting, cool even. "The Idiot," the debut single from new London duo Cracked Lime, is a perfect addition to any sullen winter soundtrack.
