Drake jumping on the "Choosin' Texas" bandwagon feels like peak rap-meets-country crossover energy, and honestly, it's hard not admire the audacity of remixing what's become the most dominant song in modern chart history. Whether this is genuine artistic enthusiasm or a calculated move to stay relevant in the conversation, it's the kind of high-profile co-sign that could either revitalise the track or feel like overkill – though given how much staying power "Choosin' Texas" already has, our guess is listeners will eat it up. For Cledvibes ears, this signals that the old gatekeeping between genres is well and truly done; if Drake's willing to get involved in country's moment, that's a pretty clear sign that cross-pollination is the name of the game now.
