The Emmys proving they're not afraid to have a laugh with pop culture's biggest names – that's the kind of telly moment that reminds us awards shows can still be fun when they loosen up a bit. Mind you, the fact that television doesn't have proper categories for original music is a genuine shame; the small screen's been serving up brilliant soundtracks for years, and they deserve recognition beyond the occasional performance slot. At least we got Noah Kahan doing his thing with a classic, which beats another montage of clips any day of the week.
