GIFT Announce New Album Frenzy For The Thrill: Hear “Hand To The Flame”
GIFT are moving fast, they've barely finished remixing Illuminator and they're already announcing the follow-up, Frenzy For The Thrill. If "Hand To The Flame" is any indication, they're not resting on their psych-shoegaze laurels either. For anyone who's been riding the wave of their Band To Watch momentum, this is the kind of quick turnaround that suggests they've got something genuinely urgent to say. We're keen to hear where they're taking that electronic-pop-rock sound next.
From Stereogum: GIFT received Band To Watch status on the strength of their 2024 psych/shoegaze/electronic pop-rock hybrid Illuminator. Today, having finally released Illuminator remixes by all 8 billion human beings on Earth, the New York band is back to announce a new album.
