There's something rather brilliant about a band doing the absolute most with the absolute least, isn't there? Haywire have managed to become proper movers in the hardcore scene whilst still operating from what sounds like a gloriously lean discography. A refreshing middle finger to the notion that you need mountains of material to matter. If they can build genuine momentum and keep people engaged with such a lean catalogue, that says something proper important about the power of a tight, compelling live show and real artistic conviction. We rather fancy that approach around here.
