Two decades is a decent run for any band, and Monsieur Periné have clearly decided that now's the moment to call it a day, even with fresh Latin Grammy recognition in the rear view. There's something quite honest about stepping away while people still care, rather than limping on until nobody really remembers why they mattered in the first place. The Colombian group's sound has been a wonderful addition to the global musical landscape, and Cledvibes Radio listeners who've enjoyed their flavour of Latin music over the years should definitely catch them on the farewell tour if they get the chance.
