Overpass bringing in Nieve Ella for a reworking of 'Fall In Love' sounds like exactly the kind of thing that could either reinvigorate a beloved track or feel a bit unnecessary, but if they previewed it at Reading and people were into it, there's clearly something there. We're always keen to hear what Midlands artists are cooking up, especially when they're willing to take risks with songs their fans already know and love. A fresh perspective on a fan favourite is either going to feel like the best move or leave some people wishing for the original, but that's the beauty of collaboration. Either way, it's good to see artists playing around with their catalogue rather than just retreading the same ground.
