Here's a bit of rock and roll theatre for you: Van Halen's internal drama is still going strong, and it seems the hard feelings between Sammy Hagar and the Van Halen camp haven't mellowed with time. What started as a band breakup has become this fascinating slow burn of public jabs and counter jabs, which is either entertaining or exhausting depending on your patience for legacy act feuds. For Cledvibes Radio listeners who grew up with either incarnation of Van Halen, it's a reminder that sometimes the music outlasts the relationships that made it, and that's always a bit sad to watch play out.
