Sour Widows – “Choke Chain”
Sour Widows are building some serious momentum with Sigil, and "Choke Chain" shows they're not content just to repeat what worked on earlier singles. This is a slower, more seductive affair, and that kind of range matters to us here at Cledvibes Radio, especially when a band knows when to pull back and let tension simmer. If you've been sleeping on this lot, now's your moment to catch up before the album drops.
From Stereogum: Sour Widows' new record Sigil is going to be good. We know this from the advance singles "Blood In The Grass" and "Lucky Star," the latter of which earned a spot on our list of the 5 best songs of the week. Now, they're back with an alluring slowburner called "Choke Chain." The post Sour Widows – “Choke Chain” appeared first on Stereogum.
