It's brilliant to see the Heartbreakers back together, and even more so that they chose this moment to honour Tom Petty's legacy properly. Having Stan Lynch back behind the kit for the first time in nearly a quarter century feels significant, a real full circle moment for a band that helped define American rock music. For Cledvibes Radio listeners who grew up with these songs, this reunion reminds us why Petty's work endures, and why great musicians never really leave us. Music like that transcends time, and reunions like this one prove it.
