There's something brilliant about an artist willing to lean into the chaos of mishearing lyrics. Matt Berninger's decision to work with the confusion rather than against it shows the kind of playful confidence we love here at Cledvibes Radio, and it's the sort of story that makes you want to actually sit down and listen properly to what's going on. The National's frontman clearly hasn't lost his sense of humour, and if this new EP captures even half that irreverent energy, it's definitely one for us.
