Saturday Night Live's season opener sounds like it was a bit of a mixed bag, which is always a gamble when you're relying on a sports personality to carry the comedic weight of the whole show. KATSEYE getting the musical slot is interesting given how new they are to the scene, though it seems the episode didn't quite land with the critics. It's a good reminder that not every SNL premiere is going to be appointment viewing, but Cledvibes Radio listeners might still want to catch the musical performances online if they fancy discovering something fresh.
