This is a serious development in a story that's shaken the music industry. Tim Westwood now faces charges spanning decades and multiple alleged victims, which underscores just how important it is that these kinds of allegations are taken seriously and investigated properly. For Cledvibes Radio listeners who grew up with BBC Radio 1, this will feel like a reckoning with a figure who was once a dominant presence in UK radio. It's a reminder that the music world, like every other sector, needs to keep asking hard questions about who we've given platforms to and what behaviour we've overlooked in the past.
