V.V. Lightbody – “Two Swans”
V.V. Lightbody seems to be on a real roll at the moment, rolling out track after track ahead of her third album Period Piece. "Two Swans" is the latest offering, and if it's got that sweetness the write-up suggests, it sounds like exactly the sort of intimate, thoughtful songwriting that deserves a spin on Cledvibes Radio. Chicago's indie-folk scene keeps delivering the goods, and Lightbody's clearly building something interesting with this new record. Worth your attention if you're after some considered, character-filled music.
From Stereogum: V.V. Lightbody's third album Period Piece arrives next month, and so far she's shared "Best Problem," "Practice Smiling," and "Dull Knife." The Chicago singer-songwriter is back today with the sweet new single "Two Swans." The post V.V. Lightbody – “Two Swans” appeared first on Stereogum.
