CMAT's getting the Saturday Night Live treatment, and if you've been sleeping on her distinctive blend of country sensibilities with a decidedly Irish twist, this might be your wake-up call. Performing two tracks on SNL UK is exactly the kind of mainstream platform that could introduce her sound to listeners who've maybe caught a session or two but haven't quite committed yet. Plus, anyone who can hold their own in a sketch alongside Jeff Goldblum deserves a bit of credit for keeping things interesting. It's not every day you see a country artist embracing the chaos of live telly quite so enthusiastically.
